Another day in Estonia! Our days are going in a blur, as we meet for breakfast at 7:45 a.m. and return to our hotel around 10:00 p.m. The time is taken up with classes, meals, and preparation for the next day. Sometimes there is a little time for resting! Classes are going well, with nine in each of the Beginners and Intermediate classes, and a variety of students coming and going in the Advanced class.
We are fortunate that the strawberries are in season right now. I had forgotten how good freshly picked strawberries taste! As we walk by the vendors on the way to the church, it is very convenient to buy the day's supply! We also pass typical Estonian buildings.
Our "Group Time" each day consists of an English Christian song, usually with actions, a skit dealing with the Reading lesson that day (taken from the stories of Jesus in John), and one of the teacher's life story (a very short part of it!!). The students are taking part well in the singing, and seem to be engrossed by the skit and the life story. Please pray that as the reading story is applied to their lives, the Holy Spirit will do His work in their hearts.
